Old Buckley Baths Feasibility Scoping Study
Awaiting outcomes
Responses are being analysed and will be published here in due course
The aim of the study is to understand the level of local interest and enthusiasm regarding the future of the Old Buckley Baths Building. The future of the building is dependent upon enough local people giving their time and enthusiasm to develop it as a renovation project. If there is enough local support then the Flintshire County Council Regeneration Team, the Town Council and the Trustees of the building could work with these volunteers to develop a sustainable future for the building.
The scoping study has four key elements:
- Production of a film about former Buckley Baths: To engage and communicate with local people to help stimulate their interest – showing the history of the building, current condition and communicate the potential for a future project.
- Online survey: Designed to be presented alongside the film to capture local opinion and level of interest regarding the future of the building.
- Social Media Campaign: To reach the most people possible, the film and survey will be released via a targeted social media ad campaign.
- In-person consultation events: To capture the views of local people without access to social media, and to discuss the study further with interested parties.
