Flintshire and Denbighshire County Councils are gearing up for this years
annual Denbighshire and Flintshire Agricultural Show on Thursday, 17 August,
when they will once again team up to host a marquee and exhibition, this year
celebrating the ‘Year of Legends’.
Find out more about how you can become a ‘volunteer legend’ and help Flintshire
and Denbighshire Countryside Services and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with their fantastic work in the glorious
North East Wales countryside and coast.
You can also learn about other Welsh legends, get involved with legendary
story-telling and create your own legendary arts and crafts.
There will be plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including
Hemlock the Dragon who will be with us on the day and available for selfies
too.
So come along and see for yourselves the many legendary adventures on offer in
Denbighshire, Flintshire and North East Wales. We will be located next to the
main ring and look forward to seeing you.
Leader of Denbighshire County Council, Councillor Hugh Evans OBE, said:
“We are delighted to be able to showcase some of our work to show visitors
again this year.
Both councils are will be highlighting some of the fantastic history,
experiences and destinations in Denbighshire and Flintshire, encouraging people
to explore this fascinating corner of Wales and have their own adventures.

“I am delighted that for eight years we have joined with Denbighshire County
Council to showcase what a fantastic destination the two counties offer.
“The Denbigh and Flint Show is historically one of the most important and
well-attended events in the agriculture calendar with crowds coming from across
North Wales and beyond. It’s a great platform for us to promote our councils
and we are delighted to be supporting show organisers again this year.
