Croeso Cynnes / Warm Welcome
Published: 04/11/2022
Flintshire is extending a warm welcome to its residents this winter and you can find out more by visiting flintshire.gov.uk/warmwelcome.
The Council is also offering financial assistance to local organisations and centres to help set up as many warm welcome centres as possible.
Councillor Paul Johnson, Cabinet Member for Finance and Social Inclusion, said:
“Whether you are looking for things to do for you and the family or if you would just like a warm welcoming space to have a chat and refreshments, there are a number of locations across Flintshire who want to offer you a warm welcome during the winter months.
“This is a great initiative from Flintshire County Council and I would encourage existing community organisations to get involved in order to increase the reach of this activity so that all areas of the County are adequately covered.”
