Another successful Flintshire Jobs Fair!

Over 400 people attended a Jobs Fair held at the Civic Hall in Connah’s Quay recently.
The Jobs Fair was aimed at adults and young people seeking work and it proved to be another successful collaboration between Communities for Work Plus, Jobcentre Plus and Careers Wales.
The event had 40 employers on hand with numerous live vacancies including;
2 Sisters Food Group, Army, Blue Bird Care, Citizens Advice Bureau, Coleg Cambria, Excell Supply, Flintshire County Council, Gap Personnel, Kingswood, Lester Cladding, Moneypenny, MPH Construction Ltd, NEWydd Catering and Cleaning and many more.
As well as applying for the many vacancies on offer, jobseekers were able to meet with and put forward questions direct to employers as well as find out about the employability support available through Communities For Work Plus and Careers Wales.
Communities for Work Plus provides specialist employment advisory support and intensive mentoring to anyone 16+ not in employment, education, or training living in Flintshire. Councillor Dave Healey, Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Economy said: “It has been great to be part of another successful Jobs Fair.
