Chairman’s fundraising

The outgoing Chairman of Flintshire County Council, Councillor Paul Cunningham and his Consort, Mrs Joan Cunningham, presented their chosen charities with cheques totalling £14,468 recently.

Since being elected last May, Councillor Cunningham has supported Nightingale House Hospice and MacMillan Cancer Support.  Each charity received £6,000 each with £2,468 split amongst other charities.

Councillor Cunningham presented representatives from the charities with cheques at County Hall in Mold, ending a successful year as Chairman.
