Town Centres Survey
Published: 25/02/2015
Flintshire County Council has commissioned BMG Research to undertake a survey
of households in Flintshire.
BMG will ask residents about how they use town centres in and around Flintshire
and will ask for their perceptions of the towns and for their level of
satisfaction.
The company will aim to get the views of 500 randomly selected households by
telephone during late February and early March.
The Council will use this research to inform the future programme of support
for town centres and the anonymised findings will be made available on the
Council website.
Cllr. Derek Butler, Cabinet Member for Economic Development said:
“Town centres across the UK are facing challenging economic times. Supporting
town centres is a strategic priority for the Council and it is vital that this
work is informed by a sound evidence base. The views of residents are an
important part of this and I hope that residents will take the opportunity to
share their views of the town centres should BMG contact them.”
