Garden Waste Collection Service 2020

New calendars and leaflets about the 2020 garden waste charges as well as details of a Waste Strategy consultation have been delivered to all households across the county. 

The 2020 garden waste collection service will start on 1 March 2020 and will run up to and including Sunday, 13 December 2020. 

Information about the 2020 garden waste collection service is on the Flintshire website: flintshire.gov.uk/gardenwaste2020.

We are now accepting subscriptions for the 2020 collection service.

Online payments can be made anytime during the year at a cost of £32.  Residents can also use the public computers at our Connects Centres to make online payments.

For other methods of payment (by telephone or a Connects Centre kiosk) the price is:

• £32 on or before the 29 February 2020
• £35 on or after 1 March 2020 

Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Streetscene and Countryside, Councillor Carolyn Thomas, said:

“This continues to be a popular service with our residents and the Council also operates five household recycling centres at Mold, Buckley, Greenfield, Sandycroft and Oakenholt, which receive garden waste throughout the year.  Advice and further information on home composting and waste and recycling services can be found on our website.”
