Highway maintenance work at B5101 Ffrith

Flintshire County Council is pleased to announce that funding has been secured to carry out highway maintenance work at B5101 Ffrith between the Old Gate House, near Ffrith Hall and the junction of B5102 Minera Road starting on Monday 14 September for approximately five weeks. To facilitate the works the section of the B5101 between the Old Gate House and the junction of the B5102 Minera Road will be closed to through traffic with a diversion route signed accordingly to ensure the safety of the workforce engaged in this operation and the highway user. The Council apologises for any delay and disruption that may be caused as a consequence of this essential maintenance work. Councillor Bernie Attridge, Cabinet member for Environment said:“I am delighted that we have been able to fund this key scheme to maintain the main route into the community of Ffrith which again demonstrates the commitment to the highway network from the current administration.”
