Deeside Streetscape Improvement Grant

A grant scheme targeting shops and commercial businesses in the towns of
Connah’s Quay, Garden City, Shotton and Queensferry is being re-launched this
September with a higher rate of support.
Grants of up to £15,000 per property are available to improve the external
appearance of shops and commercial premises and applications are welcome from
both owners and tenants of businesses.
Guidance notes, expression of interest forms are available on the council’s
website Flintshire.gov.uk, or they can be emailed electronically, or posted out

The grant scheme is part of Welsh Government’s Vibrant and Viable Regeneration
Programme in Deeside that is being delivered in partnership with Flintshire
County Council.
Councillor Derek Butler, Cabinet member for Economic Development, said: Small
businesses are vital to the health of our high streets and this grant scheme
will help businesses invest in their properties, attract customers and improve
the appearance of our town centres”.
