Schools Artist in Residency Programme

Pupils from Ysgol Pen Coch and Ysgol Maes Hyfryd, Flint will be wearing their
photographer hats and capturing stunning pictures this autumn as part of a
project called ‘Trwy dy Lygaid…Through your Eyes’.
With funding from the Arts Council of Wales and Flintshire County Council,
pupils have been working alongside professional photographer David Woodfall to
take photographs which celebrate the International Year of Light 2015. This
residency will culminate with an exhibition at Theatr Clwyd from 20 October to
17 November. The exhibition will be launched on Friday 23 October at Theatr
Clwyd at 1pm

This is a wonderful opportunity for pupils and teachers to work alongside a
professional artist in developing their creative skills, and highlights the
effectiveness of schools working collaboratively
