Business support grants

The Council continues to work with local businesses that have been impacted by the restrictions put in place to control the spread of Covid-19.  

The Restrictions Business Fund support grants that were announced on 20 December 2020 have resulted in the award of payments being made to 2,624 Flintshire businesses totalling £8,850,000. 

This scheme will close for new applications at 5pm on Thursday 11 March 2021.

The latest round of non-domestic support grants has been specifically designed to support the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector as well as non-essential retail business. 

Essential retailers and those businesses in the supply chain to the retail, hospitality, leisure and tourism sector that can demonstrate a 40% reduction in turnover are also eligible for the latest round of grants.   

If your business is eligible, and you have not already been awarded the latest grant,  or applied, please complete the on-line application form at Flintshire Business Rates before 5pm on Thursday 11 March 2021.
