Flintshire’s very own Dragons’ Den style event took place at Coleg Cambria on
Friday 26 February.
This free event was aimed at people who want to be their own boss or need help
becoming an entrepreneur.
The event was a success with 7 entrepreneurs attending to pitch their idea to
the Dragons and they all received positive feedback.
The Dragons who supported the event and volunteered their time were Askar
Sheibank CEO Comtek Network Systems, Christine Sheibani HR Director Comtek
Network Systems, Dave Fildes Managing Director Dfs4 SME Business Consultants &
Mentors and Mike Scott from Mike Scott Associates.
Councillor Derek Butler, Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for
Economic Development, said: “I’m delighted that this event was a great
success. The support and advice given at events such as these to these budding
entrepreneurs is really encouraging and is all part of the excellent work
taking place throughout the county to help local people into employment.”
This event was organised by Communities First Flintshire with support from
Flintshire County Council.
Continuing on from this event, Flintshire Enterprise Club whose members are all
