Flintshire athlete, has significantly contributed to Team GB’s place on leader
board is awe inspiring. Flintshire County Council will be supporting Flint
Town Council in welcoming Jade home in style. She is a true role model for
young people growing up in Flintshire and shows how with real desire you can
achieve your dreams”

“I would like to personally congratulate Jade, a double gold medalist at the
age of 23, she is a truly inspirational young lady who has demonstrated that
with continued hard work and dedication anything is possible. We will be
working over the coming months to ensure our sports development programmes
build on Jade’s success and encourage anyone who wants to take part in sport to
be able to get involved and get hooked on sport.”

Jades success will I hope inspire many Flintshire residents of all ages to
take part in sport. Taekwondo has strong local links and I am sure an upsurge
in demand for beginners’ courses can be expected following Jades inspirational
Olympic success.
