Don’t forget to use your vote
Published: 06/06/2017
Thursday, 8 June is the day when voters in Flintshire will have their say on
who represents them in the Parliamentary constituencies of Alyn and Deeside and
Delyn.
Everyone who is registered to vote should have received a card giving details
of the polling station where they can cast their vote. You dont need to bring
this on the day, but if youve not received one, then please phone 702329 or
702412 to find out where your polling station is - it may not be the same one
as the last time you voted!
What should you do on 8 June?
Most people will be voting in person at a polling station, and they are open
from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, 8 June. When you arrive, youll be asked to
confirm your name and address, and given your ballot paper. To make your
choice, simply place an X next to the name of the candidate you want to
represent you. If you have any questions or you need assistance, there will be
staff available to help you.
If youve never voted in person before, why not visit the Electoral
Commissions website; www.aboutmyvote.co.uk to find out more about how
straightforward it is.
If you have applied for a postal vote, you should have received your postal
ballot pack by now - if not, please phone 01352 702327, 702329 or 702412
immediately.
