Help With Saving Energy
The services that Flintshire County Council's Domestic Energy Efficiency Team offer are as follows:
- Energy advice
- Help and advice on dealing with your energy supplier
- Advice and signposting for various funding streams for heating upgrades and energy efficiency measures.
- Support and onward referrals for income maximisation
- Referrals and signposting to assist with basic needs for optimum health and wellbeing (including food parcels/vouchers, emergency gas and electric top-ups on your meter)
- Referrals and signposting for support with mental health issues
- Referrals and signposting for home and personal safety issues (to include carbon monoxide detectors, smoke alarms, safety alarms)
- Onward referrals for debt management and budgeting
- Referrals and signposting to Priority services register

NEST Wales
The Welsh Government Warm Homes Nest scheme makes Welsh homes warmer and more energy efficient places to live.
Nest provides all households in Wales with free, impartial advice to help you reduce your energy bills, maximise your income, and lower your carbon footprint.
You could also be eligible for free home energy efficiency improvements such as insulation, a heat pump or solar panels.
