Location:
Hawarden No1,Cross Tree Lane, Hawarden, Flintshire.
Hawarden No2, Ash Lane, Hawarden, Flintshire.
Hawarden No1: Situated within one corner of the Cemetery are a number of war graves dating back to the Second World War which are now maintained by the War Graves Commission. Also located within the Cemetery is a fully restored Chapel which can used to stage funeral services.
Hawarden No2: Unfortunately within Hawarden due to the ground conditions present within the Cemetery we are now only able to excavate graves to a depth of 4ft 6ins i.e. a grave for one. Therefore to accommodate families wishes of wanting a grave for two we now offer “side by side” graves i.e. two 4ft 6in graves dug closer together than two normal single graves with memorials being able to be placed across the centre of these two graves.
