Area Review Brynford and Lixwm

Proposal to amalgamate Brynford Community Primary School and Lixwm Community Primary School in order to establish one new area school from 1 September 2019.

Flintshire County Council wishes to seek the views of interested parties regarding the proposal to amalgamate Brynford Community Primary School and Lixwm Community Primary School with existing pupils transferring to the proposed area school, subject to parental preference.

The consultation documents set out information which consultees could consider to participate fully in the consultation process. The process follows regulatory guidance as set out in the Welsh Government’s School Organisation Code 2013.

The formal consultation period commenced on Thursday 15 March 2018 and ends on Thursday 10 May 2018.
