Connah's Quay High School
The proposed scheme at Connah’s Quay High School will replace the existing Design and Technology (D&T) block, Art and Food Technology block.
This new 21st Century School project will see the demolition of the existing three storey block and the provision of a temporary entrance and administration area, together with the construction of a new two storey block, comprising of Administration, Design & Technology, Food Technology, Art and Design, additional teaching provision, office space, toilets, assessable provision, lift, stairs, plant room and subject to available finance modernisation of cladding on the existing sports block.
Kier Construction have been appointed to complete the design and build for this project.
Building work started in the Summer 2017 and the contractor will ensure as little disruption as possible to learners and the local community, with a planned completion date of early 2019 for Phase 1.
