Federation Proposal – Gwernymynydd C.P. School & Ysgol Y Waun, Gwernaffield

The Governing Bodies of Gwernymynydd C.P. School and Ysgol Y Waun, Gwernaffield have jointly agreed to carry out a consultation on a proposal to establish a Federation between Gwernymynydd C.P. School and Ysgol Y Waun, Gwernaffield from Thursday 1st February 2018, in accordance with the Federation of Maintained Schools (Wales) Regulations (2014).

The consultation for the federation of Gwernymynydd C.P. School and Ysgol Y Waun, Gwernaffield in accordance with the Federation of Maintained Schools (Wales) Regulations (2014) will commence on Tuesday 23rd May 2017 and close on Monday 10th July 2017.

During the consultation period, a copy of this consultation document will be made available to all parents/carers and key stakeholders, and hard copies will be available at each school.

A version of this consultation document has been produced for children and young people who are likely to be affected by the proposal.  The children and young people’s document has been specifically written and presented to enable children and young people to understand and engage with the consultation process.  Consultation events will also be arranged with the respective School Councils.
