Active Travel Network Map Consultation
As part of the requirements of the Active Travel Act (Wales) 2013, Flintshire County Council is required to submit an updated Active Travel Network Map (ATNM) to show how we are developing the necessary network to enable people to choose to travel actively for local journeys.
We have recently undertaken a community consultation to enable people to suggest changes they would like to see included on the map and so far we have had 2647 contributions. If anyone wanted to know what people have said, the information is still available to be viewed.
Over the coming 12 weeks we will be undertaking our statutory consultation to give people the opportunity to view our updated draft Active Travel Network Map prior to submission to Welsh Government at the end of December 2021.
As we have previously consulted with residents on changes they would like to see included, we do not expect people will make further suggestions but if there are errors or omissions we do need to know about them.
We are once again using the online mapping medium to enable people to view the draft routes we are proposing and if necessary make comments. To review the proposed routes and comment please visit https://flintshire2.commonplace.is
If you encounter any problems using this method please call us on 01352 701234 for help and advice or to give us your comments over the phone with a location and we can then add them to the comments on your behalf.
Flintshire County Council thank you for your participation and if you have any queries or questions please email active.travel@flintshire.gov.uk or telephone 01352 701234.
